Reflection: I had to write a paper about a "lesson plan" in my western culture class. I had to be able to discuss a topic I had to research and explain why I choose this topic. I chose this artifact because I feel it relates to our class and the research project we did. Although, it wasn't a lesson plan, it was a research topic where I had to look up information about ww1 and memoirs of survivors. I didn't have to interview anyone but finding a memoir is sort of like an interview. Based on what I learned in our class, I applied that to this class.

Reflection: Sorority Girl is a paper I was going to use for the critical narrative for this class but i wasn't happy with the outcome. I also wanted to write about something more interesting and not the same old thing. After discussing changing my topic with you, you agreed and I was able to write a much better critical narrative. I picked this artifact because it demonstrates how as a writer I wasn't happy and decided to change my topic completely even though I was on a deadline and it was just a small assignment.
Snap SHot essay

Reflection: I choose my snapshot essay i did last semester in this class because I feel like it shows the difference of this semester and last semester. I still had obstacles and challenges of not knowing how to organize my paper but I overcame it. Also, I think it shows the different things we learned this semester and how much more work we had to do this semester. It is definitely a learning process and I think I progressed as a writer.
discourse community

Reflection: I chose this paper pretty much for the same reason as the one above. We wrote the discourse community paper last semester and in a way can be related to what we did with identity this semester. My first critical narrative was about being in a sorority and one of the main reason why I ended up choosing a different topic was because I did my discourse community on sororities too.
